1. The mother of Jesus though the Maria still virgin
2. Virgin, in other words a woman who never had sexual intercourse
3. One the main summits of the Bernese Alps, located between the northern canton of Bern and the southern canton of Valais, halfway between Interlaken and Fiesch. While the mountain peak was once difficult to access, the Jungfraubahn cog railway now goes to the Jungfrau railway station at 3,454m, the highest in Europe.
In German, Jung=young, frau=woman. So it is simply the compound word „young woman“. Perhaps in some time, a young woman had to be a virgin, just like the mother of Jesus.
